This very actual topic we discussed at the 29 th Wednesday Social in Berlin/Germany with Prof. Dr. Norbert Lammert, the President of the Bundestag.
In his speech Lammert emphasized his strong support for representative democracy. He gave an insight in his critics about plebiscites and raised some very important questions. Prof. Dr. Lammert spoke about how he thinks both concepts could and how they should not be connected.
